I know what you're thinking...this place is 420 friendly or they use bud in their food?! Well, that's not what you should be thinking. You will soon find out. This place was brought to you by the makers of Kogi Truck. Yes! Roy Choi! Ever since Thrillist posted it, I had to check it out. If you know what POT is, I'm talking about the main restaurant. [skip to next paragraph] If not, let me give you the run down. There are 3 places at the Line Hotel that have POT in it: The cafe, the bar and the restaurant out in the back of them both. I'm talking about that restaurant. Once you enter the hotel, you will see the cafe on your right and the bar on the left with hella tables everywhere. On the right of the bar, if you walk all the way to the back, you will see green neon lights that spell..you guessed it! POT! And you follow that small ass hallway and boom! You're there! When we first went there, around 8. We couldn't even get in, but we were smart the 2nd time. Then, again.. the first time was when it just opened so..makes sense. Back to the point..I suggest going early if you're trying to avoid people. Haha.

..YELLOW FEVER.. Yellow Fever is a relatively new restaurant, which opened up late last year. Ever since last year, I always saw it getting built up whenever I pass by Pop Monster, but never got to try it until now. And so, here is my experience.
When I went, it was for a Thursday night din din around 7. The parking lot is pretty small, because they share space with 2-3 other stores. [So, if you do decide to come, go when it's not too busy] There will be a big yellow sign with YELLOW FEVER in block letters above. When you go inside, it's a decently sized area with a bunch of tables and the counter on your right with menu and register. The workers there were pretty helpful, especially that it was my first time going there. The menu on the wall is pretty much like the one below: The Pan is an American restaurant that is quite small and not that noticeable, surprisingly. Even though it's off on the corner of the street, at least at first, I couldn't find it. I would say that The Pan is a breakfast spot that has a pretty good selection of breakfast foods: Pancakes, Omelets/Scrambles, and some of their specialty breakfast foods. Even though they have breakfast served all day, they have other foods there for the lunch/dinner times, such as pizza, hot dogs, burgers, etc. When I first heard of this place (word of mouth), people kept on mentioning their The "Original" Loaded Hash Browns, The Stuffed French Toast and their Pizza. Just by how they described it, I had to put this on the list to try. //1st Visit// One day, I went with my cousins and everyone's significant other to this place for breakfast. I ordered their original loaded hash browns. [Normally would show picture, but it got deleted with my phone. :( ] Let me tell you what's in the hash browns first and then let me describe to you how it taste. Website description: "2 eggs any style Bacon, sausage, green onions Jack and cheddar cheese over Hash browns, topped with chili aioli. Choice of toast." My description: "Both bacon and sausage were cuddling on top of a bed of oh so crispy hash browns underneath this velvety blanket of jack and cheddar cheese with these pillows of 2 eggs (sunny side of course) so that when you poked into those eggs, it's natural insides would just ooze out all over the food. And you can't forget the generous helping of chili aioli magic." They weren't kidding. It was pretty good. And so I went a second time a couple months later //2nd Visit// Me, my girlfriend and my other friend went for dinner. Instead of trying the breakfast, I tried something else. Restaurants wouldn't put something on their menu if it wasn't good and so, I got a hot dog. I don't normally go for hot dogs at a restaurant, but this was surprisingly filling. This is called, "The Hungry Dog." This was fully loaded. IT had a Kielbasa with chili, cheese, fried onions, coleslaw and that bbq ranch mayo drizzled all over. Can't forget the garlic fries on the side.
The flavor was pretty strong with the coleslaw with a slight smokey flavor from the mayo. It all worked pretty well together and that added crunch made it top notch. If you guys want to check it out, here's the address and website: The Pan 16601 S. Western Ave, Gardena, CA 90247 thepan1.com Until next time, happy eatings! Welcome to MILK.
I'm pretty sure a lot of you have heard of MILK or tried it yourself, but this is a dessert filled place that I wanted to blog, especially that I went there recently again for the bajiaskdfo;ajsidfma time. It's a small place, so if you see a line outside of the door on a random Tuesday night... -____- ....then, you should think it's normal. It was all the rage back then and still is. When you go inside, you have already pre-made ice cream batches on the left hand side as well as some baked goods. As you look up, you got your menu and they don't have just desserts. Lol. just desserts! They also have sandwiches, salads, and surprisingly entrees, but I haven;t tried any of it personally. I think it would be a waste because it's a dessert place really! Haha. On your right, there will be a few tables, so I usually just take mine to go, or to eat in the car. For desserts, they have their classics which is a bunch of sundaes, ice cream sandwiches (macaron), ice cream bars, and drumsticks. They have a bunch of awesome flavors there, but when we went recently, we got the Red Velvet and Thai Tea flavored ice cream macaron sandwiches. [Picture below] Along with that, they got dem shakes, floats, and malts for dessert drinks. If none of their choices touch your fancy, why don't you customize your own drink! I have...and it is awesome. With the help of Jade, we called it, "Sex It Up, VELVET!" It's not on the menu, so if you wanna know what's in it, comment below or message me and I can tell you the ingredients. :) It was a regular night..just like any other night. Hanging out with the usuals and yet, before you know it, one of your best friends actually comes home! Karl's arrival to Cali from Indiana. So what do you do??? You freakin' hang out! Everyone met up at Oko Cafe. If you're not from the area, Oko Cafe is a Boba place in Gardena, CA that sells the option of making your drink "Sumo Size Me." If you don't have an idea of what that is, it's bigger than the picture below. The one below is actually "Kawaii Size." They have a wide variety of flavors and types of boba drinks...plus you're not limited to just having boba in your drink. The awesome part is that since it's not just boba, they got coffee, hella teas, etc., even food. If you want to see it, go to http://www.okocafe.com/menu/. They even have food challenges here, which is pretty cool. The ones I can remember from the top of my head are the fry challenges, boba, burger, and ramen. Not sure what else that have though, and I'm not quite sure about the actual details of each challenge. If you complete it, I know you get to write your name and time on this sheet of paper that gets put up on their wall. [Check out the pics below and you can see it]. Definitely, come here a bunch of times for my boba fix, which they actually say on the top of your cup. Lol. Gotta get that Milk Tea Fix, especially at 11pm. :)
