For Jade's Birthday, we decided to go on an adventure that was included on the list, made by JOSHMC of California Through My Lens. We plan on finishing the rest of the list with the many counties, but we just thought we can try the Los Angeles County first, since it's so convenient for us. We arranged it according to which one is closer to furthest out, and so, first in line was the Watt's Towers. Watt's Towers has been part of the Los Angeles culture for a while. Simon Rodia built this wonderful piece of art for the LA community to contribute his own works. There is a lot more history behind it, but if you decide to take the tour, they will explain everything there for you. Instead of hearing it from me, it's best for you to check it out. The tours are given every 30 minutes from 10:30 to 4 on Saturdays. It's only $7, which includes the tour and actually being able to go inside the gated area. You can admire from the outside for free, but I'm not going to lie, it's better to see it from the inside and getting the more personal story from the workers there. James gave us a tour of the art work and explained some things that you wouldn't have found out online or in some book, so check it out. [Below are a bunch of pictures that we took] After our adventure here, Part 2 Continues...
