Comic Con, the more and more its in the past, I seem to forget all the wonderful memories I have experienced that week. Being a volunteer there year after year, it seems to be nice being around the same people celebrating this wonderful occasion. With this in mind, let's see what I do remember (compiling all of the week into one little blog)... That whole week, I was pretty much stuck with these people. Comic-Con or just relaxing back at the pad, I was with these people 24/7. What great times! OOoo, since I volunteered the previous night, we were able to go through the Exhibition Hall prior to all of the over guests. You know what that means.....SHOPPING! Well, also checking out all of the booths before anyone else. Don't want to say to much, and so, now begins a bunch of pictures from exhibit hall and everything I did. Oh, definitely one great memory was the XBOX lounge. I know some of you out there are haters or whatever, but man, this was still pretty cool. Just check out our cool capes in this picture below: Don't we look badass? Haha. Just kidding, but seriously though. The only way to get a cape there was to be a part of an interview for The Awesomes! I wish I got to see my video, but man, I made the interviewers crack up so hard. BTW, my name was H2Oboy! :) Other than that, we were able to test our new and upcoming Xbox games. Here begins the next grid of pictures. Since we are talking about gaming, I got to try out the Super Smash Bros 3DS :) If you guys are into Super Smash Bros, you will definitely like it. I do enjoy it, but it is a bit difficult to adjust to the controls. Other than that, definitely a must want for that SSBfan! I entered into a tournament style battle, but sadly lost. I almost one, but as I was doing my final smash, the game froze and we had to redo the match..meaning, I lost the next one. :( It's okay though, I was just too happy to try it out. But I could of won a shirt! I can't forget to mention, I happen to meet one of my favorite of all time artists! RON ENGLISH. It was so funny because I totally forgot that he was gonna be there signing, and we happened to be wearing the same shirt! Got to speak with him a bit and got our picture taken! Definitely an awesome memory! I should of brought my toys. HAha. Now, outside of the Con. There was a bunch of random stuff like promotions for shows and movies. Definitely an area dedicated to The Walking Dead: Terminus and the Assassins Creed Obstacle Course. I wish I got to check those out, but sadly, I didn't get to. Hopefully it will be around next year. And so, next grid! And, to end of this blog, one of my most favorite things of all, The Simpsons Area featuring the HOMER DOME! :) What FXX was trying to do is to promote the #EverySimpsonsEver aka the Simpsons marathon. For 12 days, they played every single episode of the Simpsons, even the ones that they would never show on tv anymore (due to certain situations). In the area, they had multiple prize winning games, the Homer Dome that showed a small clip of what the marathon is for, and even painting a large wall. What they tried doing is to get the most people participating in a number painting and we happen to break that record! I happen to join in on this, so soon enough, I should be recieving my certifate! :) Now includes the grid! To end this off, this SDCC experience was one of my favorites, even though I didn't get to see any panels. If you guys are ever interested, Comic-Con is definitely a must go. Just got to let you know, if you want to buy a ticket, you must be on that because it will be definitely a fight for a ticket (especially if you've seen the Big Bang Theory, you will know wassup).
Until next time, Happy Geeking!
